Girl Guides at CPM

Girlguiding units; Birmingham Rainbows, Brownies and Guides have been meeting weekly at Cerebral Palsy Midlands since 2019.

Girlguiding is an organisation for girls aged 4 to 18 which is over 100 years old. Units are run by volunteer leaders in local areas.

Girlguiding empowers girls to be their best and face the challenges of growing up today. Girls have adventures, fun and friendship. We give girls the space to grow and we ensure that each one of them can get involved - no matter what their background or ability. Girls work towards a varied programme of activities earning badges along the way.

There are three Girlguiding groups meeting weekly at CPM during term time; Rainbows is for the younger girls aged 5 to 7; Brownies is for girls aged 7 to 10 and Guides is for girls aged 10 to 14.

All groups have a varied and age appropriate programme, packed full of opportunities to lead, learn and discover, working together and having lots of fun.

"The leaders of the different units all agree it is a fantastic space to use and the team at CPM have been incredibly welcoming and supportive towards Girlguiding.”
