Kerrie Taylor
Kerrie is one of our newest clients in the art room, she has a real passion for painting with acrylic. Kerrie " says developing her new skills in painting and creating art makes her feel fantastic and more independent. Whenever there is a tutor available in the art room Kerrie wants to be in there, mixing paint colours together and trying her hand at new techniques. Kerrie's first series of paintings have had a focus around 'Votes for Women" throughout the 19th century and the campaign for women to get equal political rights. We hope you enjoy her first set as we are certainly proud to showcase her artworks.
As well as accessing art at Cerebral Palsy Midlands, Kerrie is a fan of Wheelchair Dance, she is a keen horse rider with the Riding for Disabled Association (RDA) and has been working to attain City & Guild qualifications in the CareFirst Group here. She gets involved in all of our fundraising events through out the year and is now looking forward to our Wheel'n'Walk sponsored walk taking place on Saturday 21st March at Cannon Hill Park where she is planning to cycle round the route of the park. Go Kerry!
