Parking on Pavements

So proud to see our citizens from Cerebral Palsy Midlands shining a light on the issue of parking on pavements on ITV Central News today, Tuesday 12th February 2024! Let's keep fighting for our right to independence and accessible communities.
Scotland banned parking on pavements last month and ITV Central News investigated whether towns like Birmingham should do the same. In the West Midlands it is unclear what the rules are as to whether people should be fined for parking on the road.
Our citizens from Cerebral Palsy Midlands who are also in wheelchairs, spoke out and demonstrated the huge challenges that they face accessing the local community around them when cars park with two or more wheels on the pavement. It can be a real obstacle!
