Bulls Head Pub raises £522.43 towards our Weoley Big Night Out. 23rd September 2016
The Bulls Head Pub in Hall Green, has donated £522.43 to local charity Cerebral Palsy Midlands (CPM) to help support our community fundraiser The Weoley Big Night Out, which takes place Saturday 12th November 2016 at Weoley Castle Social Club in Birmingham. The donation has been collected from customers and staff throughout the August Bank Holiday with a weekend full of activities including a charity car wash, a football match (staff vs regulars) a children’s fun day with a bouncy castle and competitions, charity waxing for some of the staff, a raffle and they had two live bands over the weekend including a Reggae night!
CPM works to empower people with cerebral palsy and other related disabilities throughout Birmingham and the Midlands. For the past three years we have had successful Big Night Out fundraisers. Our Weoley Big Night Out social evening and fundraiser give a unique opportunity for all of our service users, staff, trustees, carers, friends, families and the local community to come together for a night of live entertainment and to help raise awareness about our charity.
CPM are delighted to receive a donation of £522.43 from The Bulls Head pub in Hall Green, part of Ember Inns and Mitchells & Butlers company. Their company ethos is to foster community projects to help their staff development fundraising initiatives. Staff from the Bulls Head have previously raised money from collections at the bar for CPM and donated time to helping planting and gardening in our newly opened garden. This relationship at The Bulls Head started with our CPM ambassador Anthony Lunney singing our praise and telling them about all the good work we do here at our community centre in Harborne, Birmingham.
The Big Night Out has also been supported this year by Orbis Parters Ltd, Finesse Windows and Rock Solid Group helping towards the cost of putting on an unforgettable evening for our Weoley Big Night Out. For more information about our Weoley Big Night Out please click here.
