Alicia and Carla are set to Skydive for CPM!

Care support workers, Alicia Allgood and Carla Baldwin, have set up a fundraising page to help raise money for Cerebral Palsy Midlands. In December this year, they set off travelling to go visiting six countires and whe they get to New Zealand, they will challenge themselves to an almighty SkyDive challenge!
Both ladies have been working in care for many years and have a lot of experience working with clients with cerebral palsy. They are passionate about the work they do and about those they continue to support. Alicia said; "I have realised working along side those with cerebral palsy, that they are some of the happiest most cheerful people we know and that deep down they are exactly like us, just less able bodied which doesn't stop them from enjoying life to the fullest!"
Money raised from their charity Sky Dive will support CPM's 'Access for All' campaign which encourages our clients to get out into the community, support them on day trips, shopping trips, GP appointments and cinema visits, just to name a few. The "Access for All" campaign primary aims to combat isolation for adults with cerebral palsy and who have substantial and critical needs. For some of the clients we work with, they have opportunities to get out in to the community, this is right at the heart of what we do.
Their challenge will not take place until next year in March or April 2018, however, they have set up their fundraising page to maximise their efforts and get as much support as they possibly can. You can click on the link and find out more about their challenge here.

If you are feeling inspired and would like to fundraise for Cerebral Palsy Midlands, let us know if you have an idea or plan and we can help support you. It is really easy to set up a fundraising page, click here.
