The event is being run as part of 'The Jo Cox Foundation Great Get Together' taking place nationally for 21st – 23rd June.

This event is open to the community. Plants and picnic food will be available.

The Great Get Together was inspired by Jo Cox, who you will recall was killed in 2016. The foundation recognise people simply want to bring communities together and celebrate all that unites them. It can be anything from getting together with neighbours, friends or community to have fun, share food and celebrate all that we have in common. It could be a street party or a shared barbecue, a picnic or a bake off. What matters is that we have fun and bring our communities closer together. Jo’s family and friends came up with the Great Get Together initiative, and more than one hundred organisations are now supporting them.
