Premier League Pedal Event postponed Date TBC
Mondelez International Community Champions Steve Davies, Sophia Hussain and Michael Huggins from Bournville, Birmingham are regular supporters for Cerebral Palsy Midlands and always seek to support us in their fundraising.
This year, they've just announced a brand new and exciting challenge - a 'Premier League Pedal' cycling challenge around all the Premier League football teams and perhaps a couple extra football teams that are in the First Division in one week (thats 800 miles for them to cover!) The three Community Champions and Midland football fans will put their football team rivalries aside to spend a week cycling round all the football clubs and they are hoping for this to be the most successful fundraiser ever, fundraising for local charities;
We are asking for just a small donation of just £4 which will be split equally between the charities. Of course bigger donations are available if your budget can stretch a little further.
They are going to need all the support they can get with this challenge. If you have any contacts or ideas how we can support the 'Premier League Pedal' please do get in touch with Development Officer Sarah Lilly either by email sarah@cpmids.org.uk or telephone 0121 427 3182 ext.3.
Other fundraising initiatives this year will include;
Easter fancy dress fundraiser weekend at "Cadbury World"
Wheel'n'Walk sponsored walk chocolate donations and support
Cash Matching opportunities with our fundraising events.
Raffle donations to help with fundraising.
Halloween fancy dress at "Cadbury World" promoting the charities, raising awareness and fundraising.
The pair have given their sweat, time, energy and to helping our local community, empowering our disabled citizens and our charity to continue the great work that we do here.
Here at CPM we feel that we provide a very unique personal service and give disabled citizens opportunities on a daily basis; from activities such as art tuition, vocal coaching, rock band tuition, wheel chair dance, tai chi, city and guild qualifications, accessing the community, day trips and holidays and more.
These Community Champions really do go above and beyond, we think they deserve super hero capes! This is the lin to the Virgin Money Giving Page, please donate just £4 to show your support https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Premierleaguepedal
