WEOLEYBIG NIGHT OUT success £2314.88 raised!
Our ‘Weoley Big Christmas Big Night Out’ fundraiser we had in December 2018 was an incredible evening to remember. The evening provides a unique opportunity for all our service users, staff, trustees, carers, friends and families to come together for a night of live entertainment and to help raise awareness about our charity and cerebral palsy.
With entertainment from 'The Supreme Showgirls', ‘Planet Rock UK’, and the ‘Funky Gibbon’ party DJ. The food and catering from ‘Bournville Hog Roast Company’ was delicious! Everyone loved the mischievous Santa Claus and The Grinch characters from ‘Bernard Moseley Entertainment’. The Kabooth Magic Selfie Mirror also gave our guests a lot of fun. We also had the fabulous Lola, a 6 ½ year old Shih Tzu Pet Therapy dog, Pet’s as Therapy enhances health and wellbeing in the community through the visits of trusted volunteers with their behaviourally assessed animals. We know Lola enjoyed the evening as much as we did.
Everyone had the very best time and we raised altogether a total of £2314.88 this year, so a huge big thank you to all those that helped support our fundraising. Thanks to the Weoley Castle Social Club for the room and space for us to make this magic happen.
